They say that lifes a carousel
Spinning fast, youve got to ride it well
The world is full of kings and queens
Who blind your eyes and steal your dreams
Its heaven and hell, Oh well
And they'll tell you black is really white
The moon is just the sun at night
And when you walk in golden halls
You get to keep the gold that falls
Its heaven and hell

What a great week. On Saturday(18th) we saw heavy Metal heavyweights Metallica and on the following Tuesday (21st) we saw country superstar Tim McGraw. It was McGraw's first ever tour of Australia and he put on one hell of a show. There were two opening acts before Tim took the stage. First was Johnas Road, they weren’t really my style so they weren’t very enjoyable personally. This all changed when Steve Forde came on next. Steve Forde is one of my favourites so I enjoyed his set a lot and can't wait to see him again in October. Steve's set list looked something like this: 1. Rodeo Freak 2. Summer’s Little Angel 3. How Lon

On the 18th of September 2010 Metallica stormed into the Acer Arena and proved that they are the best heavy metal band on the planet. They had the stage in the middle of the arena with crowd surrounding it; it looked awesome and gave every seat a great view. We missed the first band, The Sword, due to lining up in the massive merch stand line to grab some shirts. We did see Fear Factory and not being a fan of their musical style I wasn't into them but i did enjoy seeing the people that were into them singing along with every word. After Fear Factory closed up the wait began for Metallica. There was an inflatable doll that made its way throug

Impact FC 2

0 min read
Last weekend (18Th July) I attended the Impact FC event in Sydney that was headlined by the legend Ken Shamrock vs Pedro Rizzo. It was a pretty good event made even better by the fact our seats were upgraded. We purchased Bronze tickets a few months earlier but our tickets were upgraded from the 5th last row to the 3rd row cage side! So that was awesome. The prelim card was filled with mainly unknown Aussie fighters. Under Card results: Manuel Rodriguez Def. Shane Nix by Submission (1st Round) Richard Vaculik Def. Glenn Taylor-Smith by Submission (2nd Round) Glover Teixeira Def. Marko Peseli by TKO (1st Round) Jim York Def. Peter Graham
